However, he didn't know the exact number at his heaviest, as he consciously avoided confronting it out of fear and apprehension. However, determined to take control of his health, Jonathan embarked on a transformative path. After researching various weight-loss options, he decided to undergo gastric sleeve surgery.

Driven by his desire for change, Jonathan contacted local doctors in Puerto Rico, only to discover a waitlist spanning approximately two years. Undeterred by the long wait, he refused to let time hinder his pursuit of a healthier future. Instead, Jonathan found a doctor in Mexico who could help him on his journey. 

With unwavering determination, Jonathan underwent surgery and accomplished a significant milestone by completing his first Ironman 70.3 in May. His journey is a testament to the power of resilience and the incredible possibilities that await those willing to embrace change.
