058: Having Conversations about Racism with Someone Acting Racist: Part One - Thought Work
Last month, another Black person was killed because of police brutality sparking a lot of conversation around Anti-Racism, White Privilege, and systematic racism as a whole. If you are white like I am, or a Person of Color who is not Black, it's on us to call out racism when we see it and to have difficult conversations with people in and out of our own social circles about race.
In this episode, I'm talking about how to do the thought work you need to do now before you have this conversation. There are lots of examples of how these conversations become volatile when emotions aren't worked though (just take a look at social media), and my hope with this episode is to help you call out someone when they're acting racist.
