MISTI HURST is an ex-AMA pro racer, and a coach with the California Superbike School (USA branch). The conversation in this episode centered around Misti Hurst's newly released book, "Life in the Fast Lane: Discovering the Art of Cornering”.

Misti explained the book's origins from her 20 years of motorcycle magazine articles and its unique blend of memoir and technical manual, focusing on her journey and lessons learned at the California Superbike School.

Jorge and Misti discussed the challenges of writing and structuring a book, the importance of avoiding absolutes in teaching motorcycle skills, and the personal satisfaction of holding a physical copy of a good book.

Misti shared details about the limited edition signed copies and the scholarship fund set up to send riders to the Superbike School.

The conversation also touched on their shared experiences with the school, the challenges of riding tall motorcycles, and the logistics of self-publishing and distributing the book. To Wrap this up, both reflected on the value of good coaching and technique in motorcycle riding, something they both firmly believe in.
