"The only time we fail is when we quit!" Patrick Rummerfield, the World's 1st Fully Functioning Quadriplegic

Patrick Rummerfield is the World's 1st Fully Functioning Quadriplegic and the author of Green Bananas: The Patrick Rummerfield Story. Patrick's story is both moving and motivational. In 1974, Patrick Rummerfield's spine suffered four crushed cervical vertebrae. Doctors saw little chance for survival, and they predicted death within 72 hours. His indomitable will, positive attitude and spiritual strength beat the hand of death and more. Patrick is now a 47-time world record holder and more recently climbed Colorado’s Legendary Manitopour Incline unassisted which has 2,768 stairs, at a 2000 ft. elevation gain. Patrick climbed the incline in 6 hours, 1 minute, and 28 seconds as a fundraiser for Missouri Kids. As you can see, Patrick is continuing to help others by sharing his testimony from trial to triumph and finding opportunities to give back to others in his own unique way.
