First, Russel Brand is likely bipolar, and armor thyroid is the LAST thing he should be taking. speaking of which, for as much of a health guy Joe portrays himself as, him taking things like exogenous thyroid is pretty disappointing. you'll feel great until your heart explodes.

I'm a long time podcast listener, but I'm super dissappointed to find out he's endorsing Rakuten. I was ripped off by one of the vendors and had an extremely bad experience with them.

Jm I think the point is that as curious as Joe seems to be, he's got a few fixations he consistently drags in that tend to slow things to a crawl. It's one thing to touch on a subject. It's another to be treated to 30 minutes of "But don't you think ...?" when the question has been asked, answered and the guest is trying to advance the conversation.

John Seller seriously, he talks about what's on his mind and his interests. if you don't like it, stop listening! pretty simple. nobody cares about your shitty negativity.

Nathan Trezise How ironic is it that people have attacked you for your personal feelings when the entire beginning of the podcast was discussing the interpersonal differences between us and how we have to learn to accept them rather than find a way to distance ourselves from what we dont identify with. Also hilarious, you only said it peaked, which can be re-written as "no episodes since my favourite one with Alex Jones have been as amazing". Thanks for sharing bro, keep doing you :)

Great podcast, and all of your negative comments are exactly a part the systemic problem they are discussing, and y'all can fuck off! You're not a part of the solution... 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Is there anyone that can tell me one thing about this country that was better under Obama than it is now under trump? Other than the hate culture

Ryan Dunn I think he means real things - not imaginary ones that sound good in speeches but which were accomplishing nothing.

The banks gave out those garbage loans because they had a government directive to give out loans to minorities that they knew couldn't pay. So the loans got called and crashed.

Dave Giovacchini Admittedly, we will not find many smoking guns here. What the government did through the CRA, etc., actually worked the back end of things more, creating the circumstances that made it almost impossible for banks to resist making subprime loans. But in business it works out to be about the same. My industry could almost print money for generations, yielding 20% ROI regularly. Then, the bottom fell out. But the shareholders still want their return, so steps must be taken. The company isn't technically forced to take these measures, but it also basically IS because it is compelled to produce X profit. I think we can agree that lending to poor folks wasn't the problem, though, as is often claimed. Not all people who are credit risks are poor. Plus, a lot of predatory lending institutions involved were not actually banks. And do we really think truly poor people were out there going to banks and trying to snatch up homes? There are a lot of stories on this and they shift around quite a bit. It's quite a bit to try to unwind and we're all probably doing a disservice if we claim it was any one thing that caused it. Maybe we should just blame the Illuminati and call it a day. 🤣

Aaron Hartje if you could please provide examples of banks being forced to give loans to people of which the govt had no backing or involvement to that would be great to review. i am unaware of this.
