#1290: Let Not Your Heart Be Troubled [Podcast]
Description
Jesus tells us not to let our hearts be troubled. We all have the opportunity to have a troubled heart but we don’t have to. We decide the condition of our hearts and Jesus will help us have a heart of peace if we will believe him and do what he says.

John 14:1-3,27 1 “Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God;[a] believe also in me. 2 In my Father’s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you?[b] 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also.
27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.
Revelations 3:20 (ESV) Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me.
If something has upset your heart and took your peace, it’s because you let it in. Jesus said he stands at the door and knocks. Don’t think he’s the only one knocking. You decide who you let in by what you believe, and focus on.
You can have the peace God wants you to have. You can if you will believe God and do what Jesus has said do.
Blessings in Christ,
