#1295: Faith Is Transferred To Us Through The Word [Podcast]
Description
Faith comes to us. Another way we can look at it is it’s transferred to us. God transfers faith to us through his Word. Through his Word he communicates his truth, his will but more than that. He transfers his life to us, his healing. Don’t forget Proverbs 4:22 which says, “For they are life to those who find them, and health to their whole body.”

Hebrews 11:6 Without faith it is impossible to be well pleasing to him,
If our desire is to please God, it will take faith.
Romans 10:17 So faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
God communicates to us through his Word, if we will hear is. If we will truly listen and take in what he says. We must read his Word with the desire to hear what he wants to say, to communicate but also transfer to us.
John 6:63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.
Faith comes to us from God when we hear (gain knowledge, understanding, truth of God) from hearing his Word. It comes to us. Faith comes to us. It’s transferred to us. The faith you have is not of your own, it’s of God.
2 Corinthians 4:13 (ESV) Since we have the same spirit of faith according to what has been written, “I believed, and so I spoke,” we also believe, and so we also speak,

(WEB) Jesus answered them, “Have faith in God.”
(YLT) And Jesus answering saith to them, `Have faith of God;”
There is only one true faith and that is the faith that comes to us, from God, through transferring it to us through his Word.
Each of us has been given an assignment. The grace and faith needed for that assignment comes from God, through his Word.
Romans 12:3 For I say, through the grace that was given me, to every man who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think reasonably, as God has apportioned to each person a measure of faith.
Romans 10:8 (WEB) But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth, and in your heart;” that is, the word of faith which we preach:
