In our newest series, "Consultants Aren't Born, They're Made", we welcome several members of SME's Building Materials Group to share their unique journeys as professionals, and what they found when discovering consulting as the destination . In the first episode, Nate Sexton, a Project Engineer, makes a special appearance as host and is joined by Eric Murrell, Principal Consultant and Group Leader and Charley Ireland, our Senior Structural Consultant and Team Leader emeritus. Charley and Eric both came to their consultant roles with years of experience in our respective fields. Eric as an architect and Charley as a professional engineer. And being able to really help clients and make their projects better is what keeps them going.
