my mom died of an overdose due to fentanyl. there was no investigation, barley any questions from the cops or effort find the dealer. they see this so much they barley care to really find the people distributing fentanyl in neighborhoods. my mother was trying to get into rehab , no open beds for her. she got into one and 4 weeks later was pushed out. how do you cure a life time of on and off addiction in 4 weeks ? this is a serious issue. rehabs are extremely currupt. it's a revolving door and they WANT you to come back. there's so much at play in this epidemic. suboxone is a joke. yes maybe it helps some, but if someone also has a drinking problem it will kill them. it is a form of self medicating and in the end it comes down a mental health issue. thanks for discussing joe Rogan. awareness is important.

Don't know that I've ever heard a research journalist that uses snopes as a source. Isn't it your job to do your own research? I feel like this guy doesn't really know what he's taking about a lot of the time!

the pharmacutical companies are not to blame, it is bad dosing and inattentive medical professionals, and also people like the easy way out so they like to take a pill and then blame others for their problemz

i took opiate pain pills for years for a back injury and after surgery that left me with permanent nerve damage. the opiates made it so i could work and provide for my family. they cut me off and now i cant work like i used to. i went from a patient that never took more than prescribed to an addict with the stroke of a pen.

During the time of the English occupation in China they allowed Opium to flow into China in order to get the populace addicted. IMHO the Chinese absolutely know what they are doing.

For all the research this guy put into his book you would think he would get some of the small facts right. The Poppy flowers you see in the USA are not the same Poppy that you extract Opium from.
