3. While technically legal, it was not something socially acceptable in any normal circles, it was very much taboo. 4. There has been public outcry and protests to get it banned for years before their op, I'm not saying they didn't impact the public discourse, but it's like being the 25th man to help push the boat out to sea, the other 24 men should not be forgotten because the boat only started moving when you pushed. I just wanted to add some clarification because someone could get it wrong.
Great episode. Howveer op. Denmark is missing some nuances you probably need to be Danish to know. 1. D3f4ult makes it out like animal brothels were common. They were not in any way. 2. Even back then, it wasn't straight up legal, the rules said you could have sex if the animal didn't suffer umnecessarily. Pretty much meaning a person letting themselves mount by a dog, would be fine. Raping a dog would not be. A distinction without a difference for many people, but worth knowing going into 3.
What a wild fucking ride😅! Thanks Jack for these crazy stories and the incite into the world we find ourselves in.
