In this episode, we discuss the latest activity around classifying college athletes as "employees" of their institutions, starting with the memo put out by National Labor Relations Board General Counsel Jennifer Abruzzo, then a case that has been filed under the Fair Labor Standards Act, as well as the latest move by the SEC and Ole Miss to allow athletes to collect academic achievement awards of up to $5,980 per year.
