Description
We have all have a pre-conceived notion about what it means to “preach” to, or even at someone, but Mary Pedersen is here to share the fruits of her years of study with us. This list can apply to a priest’s homily during mass or even your daily interaction with anyone you meet!
Some qualities of great preaching:
1: Always preach the ‘kerygma’ (a Greek word for “proclamation” this is the basic message of who Jesus Christ is, why he came into the world, and what he has done for us.)
2: Identify His real presence in the scripture, event, or present moment
3: Always lead to and prepare the people for the Eucharist
