19) Knight Frank Head of Marketing On Going From Traditional To Digital
Description
Episode 19 of Joe Escobedo – Interview with Wendy (Hogan) McEwan, Head of Marketing & Digital, Asia Pacific at Knight Frank.
Digital marketing refers to any online marketing efforts or assets. Email marketing, pay-per-click advertising, social media marketing and even blogging are all great examples of digital marketing—they help introduce people to your company and convince them to buy.
The main difference between digital and traditional marketing is the medium through which an audience encounters a marketing message. While traditional marketing uses traditional media like magazines and newspapers, digital marketing uses digital media, such as social media or websites.
About Wendy (Hogan) McEwan:
Having worked across a number of industry sectors (hospitality, media, technology and property) and job functions, I draw on my experiences managing and scaling businesses, building Asia-wide go-to-market strategies and engaging with peers to stay ahead of where next. I am a strategic leader, adept at pivoting and experimenting with new business models, currently immersed in understanding the impact and evolution of the built environment and how technology and space intersect to influence the way we work, live, shop and play.
To keep abreast of change, I network with like-minded peers across the globe virtually and physically. In 2013, I founded an invitation only peer learning network and I was a board member of The Marketing Society for more than five years. In 2020, I joined the BritCham Singapore Built Environment committee.
