Dr. Berce's path to becoming a dermatology resident is a testament to his dedication and perseverance. After obtaining his Pharmacy doctorate from The University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Pharmacy between 2011 and 2015, he spent three years working as a community pharmacist. Dr. Berce applied to medical school three times before finally getting accepted and despite these initial challenges, he has secured a residency position in one of the most (if not the most) competitive specialties in the country!

In this episode, we discuss the challenges Dr. Berce faced as a non-traditional medical school applicant, handling medical school rejections, the utility of his pharmacy education, moonlighting throughout school, and so much more!
