Do most schools contact the parents if they aren’t absent ? I know they did in highs school but that would be at the end of the day

Curious to know what time/when/where did the child witness see Kyron going out the door. Attendance may not have been taken immediately as it was an exciting day with the fair and the children in the classroom may have taken longer to settle. Possibly Kyron may have indicated he need the lavatory during this time and left the classroom. Rowdy children and one slips away while attention is elsewhere. How does one receive notifications Kyron is at the fair if he is not in the building? Notification from whom and was that examined. IF Kyron attended the fair [what time of the day was that held?] because mom received the notices -though she was at work- why was he marked absent? Was this human error left uncorrected because of the activity level at the school? Perhaps the teacher with the foreknowledge of Friday's doctor date knew it was another Friday and CYA'ed by bending the truth to cover the attendance error heading off litigious landmines. Cellular towers have a specific range, and depending on network technology [cdma, hspda, gprs, edge], a handset may hit a tower up to 40 miles away (no not on 5G sorry). One need not be directly under it to ping as the CSI factor would have one believe. Investigators are emphasizing the Sauvie Island ping; did they bother to trace the rest of the pings while she was driving? That alone would provide investigators with a narrower area to search. Just opining...

My son lives with his grandfather and my stepmother in Medford Oregon. Very scary and very sad to listen to this but very interesting to listen to.
