Description

In the early morning hours of July 13, 2011, Adam Shacknai calls 911 and reports “I got a girl, hung herself”. That “girl” was his brother’s girlfriend, Rebecca Zahau. Adam Shacknai was reportedly alone with Rebecca at the Spreckels Mansion property on the night she died and was the last person to see her alive. What does he say happened in her final hours? Plus, a scream in the night. What one neighbor says she heard, and why Rebecca’s family say they believe that cry came from Rebecca. This is episode 2 of Mansion of Secrets the Mysterious Death of Rebecca Zahau.

It appears to me that if Rebecca had tied herself up and then anchored herself to a bed rail, then leaped from the balcony, there would be some possible bruising from the swinging motion due to the leaping momentum. It would seem to me that she would have possible marks on one side of her body; from the elbows down on either side depending which side hit from swing and hitting the wall. If Adam was able to reach her by standing on an "old table" and cutting her down, then there was enough slack where she would swing due to momentum. Also, the single footprint indicated to me that she might have taken a running start in order to make that leap. This seems to be a paper thin reason given there were no other footprints left by her leading up to the window. Just doesn't make sense.

What's the relationship between Adam and Max's mother? Does adam have a history of lying Can he prove that he had a history of prescription for ambien? If not, saying you took a strong sleeping pill would make his story about ( not hearing anything) believable His 911 call " the place where the boy died" sounds disconnected Regardless of your relationship to a family member..it would be " my nephew, aunt etc". he also later referred to his nephew for a second time as "the boy".
