Another amazing meeting at the Greatest Rotary Club in the World. Local author Tom Baker came to discuss his novel “The Hawk and The Dove” which develops over six war-time periods: the Viking era, the Peninsula War, the U.S. Civil War, World War II, Rwanda, and Vietnam.
Tom gave a very powerful speech on his experiences as a US Army Combat veteran and explained how The Hawk and The Dove helps symbolize that good people are put in bad situations during war. This novel is a historical fiction with threads of magical realism and romance. Tom thank you for all you do for veterans.
