The Concept of the Dominion Mandate — Rising as Eagles
PREACHER
Rev. Dr. Ebenezer Okronipa
SCRIPTURES
Genesis 1:26 –30
Psalm 8:1–9
John 1:12 –13
Romans 12:1–2
KEY POINTS
1. The Dominion Mandate
Man was created with a divine mandate to rule and have dominion over all creation.
Dominion is the original purpose for which God made man.
Every believer is designed to reign, rule, and silence the plans of the enemy.
God programmed the course of man’s life from creation — we are meant to operate by divine order, not worldly systems.
2. Dominion Requires Action
Dominion is not for the passive, but for those who are ready to rise and take charge.
Believers must not live below their divine potential.
“You cannot live like a chicken when you were created to soar like an eagle.”
To dominate means to walk in authority, boldness, and purpose as sons of God.
3. The Identity of Man in God
Man is made in the image and likeness of God, carrying His nature and authority.
When a believer lives like the world, he loses the expression of his divine design.
God’s Word reveals our true identity — it is the mirror that shows who man is in Christ.
Likewise, man is called to reflect God’s nature — “Man is the mirror that reflects who God is.”
4. Living Out the Mandate
To walk in dominion, believers must:
Renew their minds through the Word (Romans 12:1–2).
Live intentionally and purposefully.
Walk in obedience and spiritual authority.
Represent God accurately in character and power.
The dominion mandate calls every believer to rise like an eagle, soaring above limitations and mediocrity.
CONCLUSION
The message is a divine reminder that believers were not created to crawl or walk but to soar.
Dominion is our birthright, and God’s plan is for His children to live above fear, defeat, and worldly patterns.
Every believer must rediscover their divine identity, reflect God’s image, and take their rightful place in destiny.
Eagles don’t walk — they soar!
