Do you believe in resurrection? Our next series of episodes will have you humming all the way to the Underdark, for this campaign we’re going back in time to 2017 with Out of the Abyss.

Players in this campaign include Jared playing as Jarenor (Paladin), Stephen playing as Kort (Barbarian), Matt playing as Kirito (Rogue), Andy playing as Aramil (Cleric), and Eric playing as Crow (Bard); this is the first time Luke DM’s a campaign ever!

Session 5 is Kuo-Toa’d to it’s conclusion this week as our group arrives at the Dark Lake, a landmark very close to their current destination. As they pass, shapes start to rise our of the water; Shuushar attempts to speak to the creatures but an attack is made and more foes come forward. Thanks to Stool, both sides can communicate and the battle reaches an uneasy pause that ends just as quickly with Kirito trying to knock the Kuo-Toa unconscious. Many are knocked unconscious and 12 Kuo-Toa end up bound to stop the fighting. We then meet the Archpriest who asks for the groups help with his daughter who has taken over the minds of many back in the village, they agree to a deal where they are put forth as sacrifices for her in exchange to passage to the surface once the Archpriest strikes his own daughter down– A plan that sounds nearly as wild as the NPC names in this campaign.
