In 2020 Crooked media, Pineapple street studios and Spotify released the hit podcast Wind of Change, written by among others Patrick Radden Keefe. In 2021 Keefe was invited by the Dutch John Adams institute because Keefe published a new book: Empire of Pain: The Secret History of the Sackler Dynasty (Doubleday) In this episode Lieven Heeremans and Sicco de Knecht interview Keefe about Wind of change at length, discussing narrative style, production approach and the podcast landscape in general.
