Dr. Jon Padfield, is an Engineer turned State Representative, turned Business Professor who wants to educate consumers about the many ways business and technology impact people and society, and to empower people to make more informed decisions about the products and services they buy, and the companies with which they do business.
In July 2025, Jon decided to travel around the United States, meeting people and "set brushfires of freedom in the minds of men." His goal, to encourage everyone to "Make Privacy Normal Again" which encouraged him even more than he encouraged them.
In this episode we discuss the digital prison being build around us and by us. The companies we utilise who are using all of our data to make large sums of money. The governments who collect revenue while enriching the same corporations either through our tax dollars or money raised from our lack of compliance to their false "safety" programs and scams.
