Rejection hurts. Of course, you don't want to be turned down or ostracized in any way. People who have felt the pain of rejection often avoid situations where they feel they won't be accepted. Yet, going into something with the expectation that it will happen the same way as it has in the past is not fair when you have an opportunity to share the gospel.
