mental illness is so so VERY ugly. I've watched my mother, 2 sisters and my own daughter go through bipolar disorder. personally I think it's harder on those close to the one w it. I understand the guilt, but her mother was very sick. none of this was her fault. she couldn't stop it. no matter how hard she tried.
