We @TheCottage explore how the ancient people of the Bible to whom God was speaking understood the Scriptures to show us how God was speaking to them yet communicating to them revelation for all of us even today even if in their context.
In this session, we continue our series on rebuilding the altar by turning to Malachi where God continued his discussions on purification and purging the dross from his people. During the era of the 2nd Temple after the exile, apathy sets in. Today apathy rules the day, and we look to how we can shake things up to get us back on track. People then were giving God their worst doing the bare minimum.
We are laying the foundation to discovering the riches hidden in the ancient Scriptures of God's people to learn God's way of doing and being in our daily lives. Stay tuned for our future episodes as we continue to discover more mysteries of the Bible in the sessions that follow.
