#242 🐴☕️☕️📺HORSEMANSHIP REMARKS SHOW
Description
All right so this week we talked a lot about one of my favorite visuals, which is a young ballerina learning to balance and turn on a point shoe. I love that analogy because it's so clearly represents being 100% in the middle and remember in that case, we are the teacher helping and letting him go helping and letting go so that the ballerina can learn to 100% on her own.In other words, we discussed how important it is to believe in that feeling of total balance in particular in the fourth-quarter yield over the outside hind leg and number two to even care about the feeling that the horse is doing it and we're not micromanaging the entire process. When we think about it, in context of the young ballerina, it is pretty ridiculous to think about pushing, and pulling her around. We would of course disturb her balance and make it impossible for a heart to learn to be in self carriage. In other words, we talked about set it up and let them find it.Tune in live weekly at 6:30 AM PST/8:30 CT on the Northwood Farms YouTube Channel. Bring your thoughts and questions to the chat!
