Description

As a result of slavery in the United States, the family history of many African Americans was erased. Today, many African Americans still know little to nothing about their ancestral roots. Shido, an artist living in California, is one of them. So, when he was offered the opportunity to visit Africa, he immediately jumped at the chance. In this episode, Shido recounts his life-changing adventure to the Ivory Coast and the whirlwind of emotions that he experienced along the way.
