Title: The Piano in Room 306

Level: Intermediate (B2)

#Story :

Daniel Moore, a traveling pianist exhausted from his lonely music tours, checks into the old Crescent Hotel in a quiet town. Assigned to Room 306, Daniel discovers an old piano that seems to pull him in with an eerie melody. Soon, he meets Evelyn—a beautiful, quiet woman who appears mysteriously by the window every time he plays. As their connection deepens, Daniel learns that Evelyn isn’t just another guest—she’s a lingering memory of the past. Years ago, Evelyn had been a pianist in the same hotel who fell in love with a musician who abandoned her. She waited for him, playing her sorrowful melody, until she vanished one stormy night. As Daniel uncovers the truth, he realizes he was the man she waited for—reborn, returning at last to fulfill a forgotten promise. Through their shared music, they find peace, and Evelyn’s spirit is finally freed, leaving behind only a haunting melody and a single white rose.
