The book of Judges began with a crisis of leadership, and it ends with a crisis of leadership. Israel reaches a stage where it needs saving from itself! Though the book ends on a dark note, we see that despite the deep depravity of God's people, He is merciful. God shows yet again that He is faithful to the faithless.
