I too grew up in a family where my dad was an alcoholic and we all learned how to tiptoe around his anger and violence when he was drinking. Except for my poor brother who stood up to him and It pretty much ruined his life. Glad you're in therapy so you understand that it's not your fault.Narcissists and abusers target codependent people that have spent their whole childhood's trying to please. So glad you're doing well and love to you and your family
You don't need an ex-drug addict man to love you, you need therapy lady. Get a grip, you left your son with a man who left to do drugs and you still take him back and then marry him. Stories which have elements about endangering a child infuriates me the most and make me not have any pity or empathy towards such careless and damaged women
