unbelievable how messy was the police work here
Wow. This case made me angry on so many levels. I was angry at the friend for pressuring her other friend to hitchhike as the one who didn't want to kind of had no choice as she would have been left alone. So the one that didn't want to hitchhike died along with her friend (they are both victims of course). But they both wouldn't have died if she listened to her sensible friend. In addition, I know it's not always safe to stop to intervene in a crime and help someone, but the least someone can do is IMMEDIATELY phone police as soon as they are able to. Such as the couple with the toddler, I understand them not stopping but waiting 2 days to contact police after seeing an assault taking place is unacceptable. They are complicit and would they not want someone else to help their own daughter in future when she grew up in the same situation?? Also the lady whose house she approached who didn't report it for 5 years?? What the f**k is wrong with people? All it takes is a phone call and you
