Description

Kyron Horman vanished nine years ago without a trace after his school science fair. His parents say they believe his stepmother, Terri, knows what happened to him. Terri denies any wrongdoing.

On this week’s episode 3 of Into Thin Air: The Mysterious Disappearance of Kyron Horman, “Mystery and Murder: Analysis By Dr. Phil,” Dr. Phil reviews Terri Horman’s Facebook post that caused more speculation just four days after 7-year-old Kyron disappeared. Plus, what happened during her third polygraph exam?

I’ve never been a Dr Phil fan but I am really enjoying his thoughts on the case. I thought it was a good point that she didn’t call the cops the first time she said the landscaper offered to kill her husband, but now that she’s under scrutiny, she jumps on it.

Yeah...hiring a lawyer doesn't mean you've done something wrong. If I felt police were pressuring me into saying something that wasn't true, I would hire a lawyer in a heartbeat!

Why get a burner/untracable phone? .... hmmm...... Why not. A burner is nothing more than an anonymous line over typical cellular networks on a device you will not cry over if you lose it. Better known as prepaid accounts, it is a line of servi e that does not require your personal information to open. {yes they do like a name and such on the account so be creative and pick a real zip code or the system will kick it back -- just sayin' - allegedly} Service follows the sim card not the device, so as long as the sim fits, you may use any device or switch between sims. Prepaid accounts are used by many with bad credit or modest means. Yes, they are traceable. Anything on the networks can be found. So if agencies are tracing a burner back to Mr. Sas Quatch at 123 main, Anderson, Ak 99774 because that's what the info on the account reads, go get 'em boys! There are apps which also provide the same services (sms, mms, calls) however they need a data connection. Some call these wifi phones as they only work with an internet connection. Apps like Burner, TextMe, GoogleVoice, VoIP apps fall here. Yes, the IP can be traced back to an access point; you are warned. Mask it... There are truly "Untraceable Phones" using wifi only going through extensive obfuscating methods. This type is truly untraceable and likely not the level of phone these laides were in cahoots about. The benefits: you can start a line of service without providing any personal data and it works just like a normal phone. With the apps you may set up a line to sell something, say on craigslist, then delete the account protecting your privacy. One may change the NPA-NXX-XXXX as one sees fit. These lines may be forwarded to another line with a distinctive ring tone to help screen your calls. As long as the prepaid amount or minutes are available you have service they run out no calls (great for teens). Downside: should one choose to use the newest devices, one must purchase the device upfront. No bricking if lost. Unlike contract plans for service, this will not give your credit/fico score a boost with a payment history. As for paying for it or topping up minutes, use a prepaid GIFT CARD. Kinda pointless to get a burner, put all that fake info in, and then use your real plastic to pay for it. Now that might be why Terry needed her friend to get the phone for her. The purchase would trace back to her friend. >cough coughcough cough< Again just opining and speculating on the one enquiry. What do I know ;-)

Something I have wondered; How did Terry afford such a high powered attorney? As you noted, she was unable to find work at that point. I moved to Oregon not long before Kyron went missing. I wonder if she sold poor Kyron to someone, and then extorted even more money from that person once she was really under scrutney... This case makes your mind go to strange places... I know that sounds aweful but how did he just vanish? No body no trace? Someone had him somewhere private.

Great advice! I agree too; if law enforcement agencies would like to question one on anything at length, having a guide (lawyer) is very wise. It is also wise to know all 10 of The Bill of Rights besides Miranda. Hmmm... lemmie listen again before I opine. Somenting is not adding up correctly about Kane.
