Comedians Dave Anthony and Gareth Reynolds examine Henry Clay Frick and his love of steel and money.
0:00 ...They are putting out free weekly content, listen to the damn ads and dates
Kim Straus Advertisers will look at how many plays an episode gets and how often the promo code "Dollop" is used but they'll also see the dickheads posting "Podcast starts at 4:25" and the advertisers will realise people aren't listening to the ad reads so they'll ask Dave to start weaving them in mid episode. if you wanna skip them that's fine, but at least provide the illusion we're listening to the ads.
If you want to support the dollop, donating to the patron would be best and the best free way to help would be 5 star reviews, sharing and retweeting and all that other nonsense.
For the amount of effort that goes into these the least we can do is sit through a few minutes of ads
Axel Miller here's a question: does it benefit them if I just listen to the ads over and over again or do they only count if the add and the dollop are listened to.
I am willing to give my time listening to ads over and over again (but only for the dollop).
