Description

Char Aukland is a health coach and certified personal trainer with a background in occupational therapy.

She approaches her training from a perspective that takes therapy aspects into account , especially preservation of joints and injury prevention.

In her role as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant , she also facilitates group therapy sessions on the psychiatric unit. This portion of her background allows her to be more beneficial as a health coach, not to diagnose and treat but to be able to recognize difficulties that may require additional specialties that may be beyond her scope.

Her legacy goal is to empower people to healthfully transform their legacies.

Char joined Mario on 10 Minute Mindset to talk about the power of our thoughts when it comes to our fitness, how she utilizes micro goals with her clients to help them stay consistent with their desired outcomes, and how writing down what we want to achieve is a small action that leads to big results.
