Ms. Renee Hicks the Founder and Blogger of Book Girl Magic joins Reid Street Smart to talk about her journey; her newfound love for reading; how a personal challenge to read more books has turned into the creation of a space of empowerment for other women with similar interest. So much so, that, the Book Girl Magic brand has grown tremendously since its creation in 2017.
Book Girl Magic is a book club and space for women to be able to read, discuss and share ideas about the books they enjoy on the daily. Their mission is to read books that celebrate black women authors.
