Padma has had a long career with an overall experience of over three and a half decades. She has worked at a couple of different organisations the most prominent one being Sonata Software, where she had spent the majority of her career. She has also worked at Hindustan Aeronautics as Deputy Manager. She did her B.Tech from The National Institute of Technology and her M.Tech from the Indian Institute of Technology.
