44. Dragon Hunting Season
Description
Journal Notes: It’s dragon hunting season. We all have a dragon that knows how to prey on our deepest fears and insecurities, and it’s stalking us like we’re the last meal it’ll ever have. It’s time to name our dragons and ask the Lord how best to kill it.
✷ Psalm 141 Set a guard, O Lord, over my mouth; Keep watch over the door of my lips [to keep me from speaking thoughtlessly]. Let the righteous [thoughtfully] strike (correct) me—it is a kindness [done to encourage my spiritual maturity]. It is anointing oil on the head; For my eyes are toward You, O God, the Lord; In You I take refuge; do not pour out my life nor leave me defenseless. Keep me from the jaws of the trap which they have set for me, And from the snares of those who do evil.
