47. Conferencing like conferencers - what we've learnt from NME and Bashy

Welcome back to the next episode of the Unlearn Something pod!
Miss S and Miss D share their reflections on some conferences and seminars that they have recently attented - the 'Education Unveiled' seminar run by NME and the 'Being Poor is Expensive' conference run by Bashy.
Attending these events is such a great opportunity to connect with like minded people and engage in dialogue. Our CPD cannot be limited to what our schools provide. The offers from different MATs and boroughs varies greatly - we need to connect more with other organisations working towards social justice and equity in issues beyond the school setting. It's all connected, we cannot remain in the vacuum of our schools.
