When Dr Phil asked her the "but for" question, it sounded like it clicked for her for the first time. She really is responsible for his death. Dr. Phil broke her brain and then she killed herself.

I'm going to go ahead and just say what I believe happened and what I think is, she 100% killed her husband and killed herself from the immense guilt she felt and from living in that environment.
