5 Tips on selling yourself to clients
John recently had coffee with a colleague and shared some of his experiences with him about building his business and selling himself to clients. That was the inspiration for this podcast. Johns 5 Points are:
1. It's about you - It's not about a product, you are what you're selling!
2. It's not about the competition - stop worrying about the other people and in fact, friend them as they may be a great support for your business.
3. Network - join groups, and volunteer your talent, not for free, but for promotion
4. Be a unicorn - What makes you unique and special
5. Don't Sell Yourself...Listen to the customer - Find out what they need, and fix it..be the hero.
