Kane Brisco is a Taranaki dairy farmer, author and coach of Farm Fit NZ.

Kane published a book (link below) 2 years ago which is brilliant so I got his own the show to share why he wrote it and what other rural men and women can learn from it.

We talk about the mistakes Kane sees rural men make inc. a lack of self-awareness and in his case being too proud to ask for help (he did eventually with a farm consultant). We also talk about the connection between body and mind, the importance of self-care, having a purpose, smelling the roses, connecting with nature and people, the legacy you want to leave and why exercise creates energy even when you don’t feel like it.

Since reading his book I’ve wanted to talk to Kane for a while. You’ll get a ton from this episode if you listen with an open mind.
