586 Preparation and the Power of Being Ok with Not Knowing with Damian Synadinos | 10 Minute Mindset
Damian Synadinos is back on 10 Minute Mindset to talk about the children’s book he wrote to teach kids the skills of improv, how he translates improv to helping other speakers on stage with their presentations, and how important it is to be prepared when speaking but how it is also Ok to not know everything and then use that preparation to improv in a powerful way.
For more than 25 years, Damian Synadinos has helped “build better software and build software better” through testing. Now, through his company Ineffable Solutions, Damian offers talks and training that are based on real-world experience, supplemented with deep research, and focused on fundamental topics and people-skills.
His professional experience spans many roles, industries, and companies, including CompuServe, NetJets, Abercrombie & Fitch, Nationwide Insurance, and Huntington Bank. Damian also helps organize an annual, regional testing conference, "QA or the Highway", and is an experienced speaker and trainer, presenting dozens of keynotes, workshops, and sessions at diverse conferences and corporations around the world.
In addition to helping mentor junior speakers and develop unique slide decks with his original artwork, he is the author and illustrator of the children's book "Hank and Stella in Something from Nothing", and has over 12 years of theatrical improv experience which he frequently applies in different contexts to create content that is both educational and enjoyable.
