Description
DEI re-education is the "North Star" of Communities in Schools.
In this episode I walk you through a DEI training led by a staff member of Communities is Schools - South Central Texas affiliate.
The "Beads of Privilege" training defines PRIVILEGE by DEI standards. Intersectionality is also defined. The training aims to help the participant internalize the DEI worldview. The goal is to have CIS staff work with children in public schools viewing them from a DEI lens and influencing their attitudes and behaviors toward a DEI perspective.
