Description

Captain Kevin Smith of the Indiana State Police granted us an interview to discuss the arrest of April Tinsley's killer who was apprehended in July of 2018 using new genealogy methods. uh, one of the worst episodes. 1hr, 8 min, 31 sec of him droning on about me, me, me. I enjoy Crime Junkie and the presentations of the case so far, but this guy didnt give us anything. If anyone spent any time actually counting the information he gave versus the fluff talk, it would amount to about 4 minutes, maybe 5. Id suggest next time getting to the core of who this guy is, then on how he was caught, then on what we know about the process of him getting caught so far, then perhaps how the family has responded. I realize there are those who may not follow much on crime, but for those who do, we didnt get much because the information on matching through dna sites has been all over since the golden state killer.

Do they know who submitted the DNA that caught him? A family member had to have, but I'm curious as to who.

Mrs Murphy They didn't specifically say. They said members on both sides of his mother and father.

I'm thankful for the update but Kevin seems to lose track of the initial question. I'm so lost! 🤨
