Description
Stepping Out of Your Comfort Zone with Jonny Freesh
Courageous Self-Confidence podcast – Stories of Courage
Stepping out of your comfort zone takes courage. Jonny Freesh, a “weird hip-hop” music artist, explains that this can lead to personal confidence.
Jonny Freesh, previously Jonathan Dale, is living his dream as a hip-hop artist making music overseas. He has a global free-spirit mindset that allows him to get plugged in to communities and make friends wherever he goes. His music exudes self-confidence and courage. Warning: His music is explicit. However, this podcast episode is clean (for the most part).
I’m happy to have him on the show to explore how he has been stepping out of his comfort zone on a continuous basis. This his story of courage.
In this episode

Quotes in this episode from Jonny Freesh
It’s one thing to share my personality with my close friends, it’s a totally different beast to put it online for everyone to see.
Doing other things that have scared me allows me to know it’s going to be okay.
Having the courage to come out and say hey I’m not like anyone else. I’m me. I’m different in many ways. And I’m the same I’m the same in very fundamental ways… It takes confidence.
For a lot of people moving isn’t an option, so it can be something as simple as finding a new community where you live.
That’s the way I grow and get more confident is when I’m forced to do new things that are out of my comfort zone.
