Sometimes you have days that – from the outside in – seem terrible, but internally, we have the power to turn those days around. Our brains are wired to focus on the negative, but we can put our lives into perspective with one simple trick: acknowledge that this is life, and this may be as good as it gets. Today is all you have, and it may never get better, so focus on the silver lining because, as long as you’re alive, there’ll be one to be found.
