Shane Miller is a contemporary artist based in Nashville who creates paintings with imagined-landscapes that evoke a powerful mix of dreams, memories, and nostalgia. Largely self-taught, Shane shifted away from working as a physical therapist assistant and a musician to become a full-time artist in 2016 via his growing reach on Instagram. In Episode 8, Shane talks about creating a life based on his passion for art and shares insights into some of his influences, painting techniques and his creative process.
