I enjoy listening to this podcast for the most part but you guys have been super whiney lately. Its like youre on a crusade against the show. I can agree that D&D have fucked it up in a lot of ways but the reality is they arent GRRM and can be expected to be lacking in writing quality against him. The point of the episode was Daenerys final move into madness, but to say that this doesnt make sense is ludicrous. Literally since the character was introduced it has been a fight against her "being like her father". Think of it in terms of the LOTR, Aragorn could either have ascended the throne like he did after he proved himself, or not given a rats ass and been a huge power seeking failure like his ancestors. Either prospect is equally plausible. Similarly with Daenerys, but with GRRM the anti-climax disappointing ending is his style. Throughout her timeline shes been burning people, crucifying people, constantly referencing fire and blood. I mean come on dudes, I've read all the books as well as all side books and this is definitely the outcome I expected. The Euron scene was fucking stupid, I'll give you that.

for real some one needs to piss on you guys' servers. Daenerys didnt flinch when her brother died. the double Ds did explain it, she's got the blood of a psychopath in her, hello! . I've unsubscribed to ur podcast because of how whiny you guys are, this was a masterpiece of Television and you all just shit on it because you dont understand people. people arent wired like computers, sorry; history is filled with people doing things w/o the best reason. But I do have good reason for saying this, fuck you and fuck your stupid whiney ass podcast

What did you guys expect from an incest born dragon queen? I know this episode is upsetting a lot of hardcore GoT fans but if you really think about it, it made perfect sense. Dany is a crazy bitch and she finally showed her true colors. Not the best possible ending but this all makes sense to me.

Who else wanted Cersei to say something demeaning to Jaime, enraging him to the point where he snapped her neck (with his good hand)?

I feel that as a non book reader I'm not as upset with this episode. The issues are there but I enjoyed it. Also was disappointed they went full mad queen with Dany. Jon shouldn't have aunt zoned her. Arya on a pale horse coming for Dany. Hbo should easily be able to restart from season 6 without the double ds and just throw money at the cast while they're still young.

The show wasn't ruined for me this week but this podcast sure was. I feel like you've become increasingly more unprofessional this season. Tons of people loved this show and Reddit seems back to posting memes and talking about how good it was.

and you apparently didn't watch too closely if you couldn't recall Tyrion telling Dany about Varys betrayal.

This is the cult of outrage. No wonder George doesn't want to finish the books. The fans are all smarter. 🙄
