You can support or reject economic policy (privatizing, tariffs, protecting national industries, subsidizing low income people, etc). but you can never support rape, torture, murder, disappearing people etc. The end never justifies the means. This podcast seems to mix those and it's pretty disturbing..

That journalist hasnt seen bad situation in his country, and thats why he says it isnt worth it. Not saying it is, at least not the military cruelty but saying the Chicago boys policy wasnt worth it, that's just complaint of the privileged
