Description

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large">Common Cuckoo cuculus canorus</figure>

Welcome to Glenn Robison’s Rapidly Rotating Records, bringing you vintage music to which you can’t not tap your toes, from rapidly rotating 78 RPM records of the 1920s and ’30s.

So why is there a photograph of a common cuckoo bird as the featured image on this week’s playlist for the show? Well, it’s actually at the request of listener Robert and you’ll find out why in the final segment of this week’s show. In other segments, John Murray gets his first birthday segment. We’ll have a segment about The Volunteer State (Tennessee, in case you didn’t know) and we’ll take a musical trip to the border. And we’ll listen to a speech. There’s lots of great music and interesting information so set aside an hour with your favorite beverage and prepare to be transported back to a different–and we think better–musical era. Just click the link above to listen streaming online and/or download for listening at your convenience.

THANKS FOR LISTENING! ENJOY THE SHOW!
