Mark 9:30 - 50 portrays a scenario where we see worldly ambitions and pursuits contrary to the Word of God as clear pathways to hell and judgment. Jesus addresses this in His disciples and subsequently in us to whom the zero-sum game mentality sometimes plagues us; a mentality which considers ourselves above others and disregards their interests. Pastor John Musyimi in this sermon shows us that the danger of worldly ambition is dealt with through sin-killing servanthood!
